Calculus
This course will cover what would be considered the first semester of college level Calculus. We will cover the following topics:
This is the first of a three semester course sequence in Calculus. Topics covered will include limits, derivatives, applications of derivatives, definite integrals, indefinite integrals, and techniques of integration, volumes of
solids of revolution and volumes of solids with known cross-sections.
Semester One:
Preparation for Calculus
Limits and Their Properties
Differentiation
Applications of Differentiation
Semester Two:
Integration
Logarithmic, Exponential, and Other Transcendental Functions
Applications of Integration (area between two curves, volumes of solids of revolution, volumes of solids with known cross-sections)
